Usual stops at Arrow Lake (near Mt. Pleasant) and Solutia (formerly
Monsanto) ponds in western Maury County today (Nov. 28 2006):

Canada Goose 31 (Solutia)
Gadwall 12
Mallard 8 (Arrow)
Green-winged Teal 18 (Arrow)
Ring-necked Duck 347
Hooded Merganser 12 (Arrow)
Ruddy Duck 6 (Arrow)
Great Blue Heron 8
Killdeer 1 (Arrow)
Wilson's Snipe 1 (hogwallow)
Belted Kingfisher 4

Some medium-sized Canada Geese mixed in with the big ones give
evidence for the arrival of migrant populations joining the residents.
