Radnor Lake State Natural Area
Davidson Co.
Nashville, TN
7-9:30 am

Tuesday morning very muggy conditions prevailed at Radnor Lake. I walked
around the entire lake and picked up a few migrants. The Double-crested
Cormorant that I first saw on Sunday was perched on a big snag near the
west side of the lake next to Otter Creek Road. Two Spotted Sandpipers
were near the dam. Found a hummingbird nest on the walk from the
road to the dam. Only nine species of warblers were seen or heard but
there were still plenty of Swainson's Thrushes moving through.

Highlights include
Double-crested Cormorant 1
Spotted Sandpiper 2
Swainson's Thrush 10+
Gray Catbird 1
Philadelphia Vireo 1
Red-eyed Vireo 7+
Tennessee Warbler 3
Yellow Warbler 1
Yellow-throated Warbler 1
Blackpole Warbler 4+
Prothonotary Warbler 1
Louisiana Waterthrush 3
Kentucky Warbler 1
Hooded Warbler 1
Canada Warbler 1
Scarlet Tanager 1
Red-brested Grosbeak 1
