You can see a list of the registered sites at this link: http://www.birdwatchersdigest.com/site/funbirds/bigsit/results05/circles_registered.php There are only 3 sites registered in Tennessee, 1 in Geogia, 0 in Kentucky and 1 in North Carolina. For the last two years we participated by counting in our yard and have managed just over 50 species each year. I would like to offer a challange to all Tennessee birders. All Tennessee teams would donate a dollar for the differnence between their total and the highest team total to the TOS Conservation fund. Example: If the Birdnerds team gets 50 species and the Niteowls get 60 species, the Birdnerds would donate $10.00 to the TOS Conservation fund. Anyone interested? Hi, I was wondering if anybody in the Chattanooga area was doing the Big Sit! If any one is, please let me know, I would love to do it. Thanks, David Hollie Ringgold, GA Catoosa Co.
