There are 2 Swainson's Warbers singing on territory on Schoolhouse Gap Trail in Great Smoky Mountains Park You can access the trailhead 4 miles west of the Townsend T, and the birds are on 2 different territories not far up the hill from the trailhead Another bird was found yesterday at the end of the road around the camping area at Airpark Inn at Reelfoot Lake It was singing from a tangle directly behind an "Authorized Vehices Only" sign near the locked blue gate It was very furtive and resisted all my concerted efforts to see it, I would assume it is on teritory at this date Cheers Terry Witt Murfreesboro Tn =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
