April 26, 2009 Ensley Bottoms Shelby Co. TN Searched three different times for the Swainson's with no luck but I also saw no movement of any kind of raptors all day. The only flying raptors were a few Mississippi Kites working close to the tree tops in the stiff winds. I was joined by Stan Harboldt and we found Bobolinks and Dickcissels working the fields and dropped down into DeSoto Co. for his Lifer Uplands where we found 3 groups in 3 fields for a total of 21 birds. A single Caspian Tern was working TVA Lake and a Forster's at Robco Lake. Good Birding !!! Jeff R.
