[TN-Bird] Clay-colored Sparrow, Halls Greenway, Knox Co.

I saw a Clay-colored Sparrow yesterday morning (4-26) at Halls Greenway, in
saplings along the creek.  About the size of a Field Sparrow, and the first
thing I noticed was how "clean" it looked underneath.  No streaking on throat,
breast, or flanks.  Bright white eye stripe, white malar stipe, ear patch
bordered in black.  Thin white streak on crown otherwise streaked with brown
and black.  The bill was dark on the upper edge of upper mandible, lower
mandible pale.  Longish forked tail.  I managed to get one very bad photo
before it got
away:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/8343980@N06/3479057073/in/photostream/
As so often happens, it disappeared right after I took the pic.  It was while I
was still searching for it that I realized that it was probably a Clay-colored
Sparrow.  When I got home, I compared what I had seen with several
references, then looked at the photo.  What can be seen matches very well with
the photos in Beadle and Risings Sparrows of the US and Canada, The
Photographic Guide.

I returned that afternoon, looked for 45 minutes, but could not find it again.
