[TN-Bird] Surf Scoters @ Woods Reservoir

This is my first post.  Forgive me if I mess up the order in which this is 
supposed to be written.
 
On Dec 24, I was checking some spots around Woods Res and had a small group of 
ducks come flying across the water.  When I got the scope on them, I realized 
they were ones I hadn't seen before: Surf Scoters.  There was one male and four 
or five females (attn was on the male, sorry).
 
Checking the same area the next day, I found nothing but Common Loons, Horned 
and Pied-billed Grebes, Buffleheads, etc.  
 
Also found a Loggerhead Shrike in Franklin Co. that seemed to be sticking to 
its territory.
