Yes, at least four field parties attempted to find or
walk up the Snow Buting at Musick's Campground
on South Holston Lake in Northeast Tennessee.

The bird was not found today (11/19).

Searches began as early as 7 a.m., again at 9:30,
just after noon and just before dark (4:45 - 6 p.m.)

Most of the waterbirds and gulls seen Monday cleared
out of the area and we had rain early this morning and
fog most of the day with it more heavy in the afternoon
and evening hours.

Sorry we don't have better news.

Let's go birding.......
