[TN-Bird] Sightings Reports 18 April 07, North Memphis, Shelby County

Location:     TN, Stiles Wastewater Treatment Plant
Observation date:     4/18/07, 1110-1140am

Notes: For second trip in three days the Blk-necked Stilts are still in at
the NW treatment plant lagoons. Nesting and courting still going on.

Mallard     7

Blue-winged Teal     18

Killdeer     14

Black-necked Stilt     54

Greater Yellowlegs     7

Lesser Yellowlegs     53

Least Sandpiper     11

Pectoral Sandpiper     21

Wilson's Snipe     1

Rock Pigeon     3

Mourning Dove     7

Barn Swallow     7

Northern Mockingbird     2

European Starling     19

Red-winged Blackbird     25

Common Grackle     10

Location:     TN, Northaven N Watkins Ponds S of Bridge

Observation date:     4/21/07

Notes:     While up in the North Haven area I stopped at the wetlands along
Watkins rd (east side). Little Blue in perfect breeding Plumage was the best
bird of the day.
