Don Davidson and I observed a single Short-eared Owl in flight around
5:30 this afternoon, Jan. 27, at Bark Camp Barrens WMA in
Manchester, TN (Coffee Co).
Yesterday afternoon, we observed two large gatherings of Sandhill
Cranes (we estimated the total to be over 500) near Morris Ferry,
Woods Reservoir, Winchester TN (Franklin Co). The Lesser
Black-backed Gull was also seen yesterday afternoon on one of the
buoys near Morris Ferry.
