Hi folks,

Fortunately Tracey forwarded this email to me, as I'm WAAYYY behind
in reading (as you see from my posts, I've been busy). I just
downloaded the pics from camera to computer. I am sure one is a
male. The other I'm not sure there is enough detail available to
tell.

I don't have ability to post. If someone (Jeff?) is willing to post
for me, I'd be happy to email the pictures.

We knew these were good birds... but didn't realize they were that
good!

We didn't see any behavior I'd classify as breeding. I heard them
come in behind me, I turned to see them land and called them out to
everyone. They (the birds, not the people) began what looked like
foraging, several feet apart. The other times we saw them, they were
flying.

They were not at any time, to my recollection (Michael?) visible from
the road.

I would like to get out there. But the 6 weeks hold for me: opening
the MAPS station, training volunteer assistants, training summer
staff at Tremont, running 4 BBS routes, teaching school program. And
oh, yeah, becoming a father somewhere in there. Not sure I'll make
it back to Rankin before, oh, about 2007.
