I spent a couple of hours this morning at Radnor Lake (Davidson Co.). It was quite birdy and I ended with 18 species of warbler and 5 vireos. Highlights were my FOS Philadelphia Vireo and Blackpoll Warblers. Back at the house, the Rose-breasted Grospiggies have arrived en masse and are swarming my feeders and birdbath. Six was my high count this morning but if it goes like last year, I expect to see 20+ around the feeders at any given time within the next couple of weeks. Also a good number of warblers and vireos around the yard daily.
