[TN-Bird] Pelican, cattle egret, blk tern (Gallitin)

Overcast weather and occasional light rain made for nice birding at Gallitin
Steam Plant this AM (7/26/08). As I panned across the herons and egrets on
Pond A, I happened upon a lone American white pelican. Also on Pond A were
6-10 cattle egret (adult and imm) roosting in a tree. 15+ black terns were
around as well. Thought I heard a least bittern but never saw it. Species
included:
Am white pelican (1)
Dc cormorant
Least bittern?
GBH
Great egret
Snowy egret (3+)
Cattle egret (6-10)
Green heron
Bc night-heron
BV
TV
Osprey
Red-tailed hawk (3)
Am coot
Semipalmated plover (2)

Least sandpiper (50+)

Yellow-billed cuckoo
Rt hummingbird
NRW swallow
Tree swallow
Common yellowthroat
Yb chat
