Chris got most of the ones on my list but here's a few contenders I haven't seen mentioned so far that I think should be considered... while avoiding taking bets on potential splits (Yellow-rumped Warbler, etc.) or something off-the-wall like accepted 'countability' of Muscovy as an established, introduced species (not quite thick as Mallard mutts but getting close around here... I'm sure we would have had more of them than most wild duck species on the Knoxville CBC today). Clark's Nutcracker, in my top 10 Pacific-slope, Hammond's, Dusky, and/or Gray Flycatcher Ferruginous Hawk Bohemian Waxwing Buff-bellied Hummingbird Green-breasted Mango (NC and GA have had them) Brown Noddy (a strong, fast-moving Gulf hurricane) Brown Booby (ditto) Red-naped Sapsucker (?) Although whenever we do this it is almost always something completely off-the-wall so I'll say... hmmm... how about Northern Jacana. :-) Dean Edwards Knoxville, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
