[TN-Bird] NTOS Radnor Lake Wednesday morning walk

Twenty birders gathered this morning at Radnor Lake State Natural Area for
the first of the weekly Wednesday morning walks for Spring 2009. In spite of
overcast skies and temperatures hovering in the mid to upper 40's, we
observed 36 species, including good looks at a Yellow-throated Warbler and a
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher already on a nest. Here's the list:

Wood Duck

Mallard

Blue-winged Teal

Wild Turkey

Pied-billed Grebe

Turkey Vulture

Spotted Sandpiper

Chimney Swift

Red-bellied Woodpecker

Downy Woodpecker

Pileated Woodpecker

Eastern Phoebe

Yellow-throated Vireo

Blue Jay

Tree Swallow

Northern Rough-winged Swallow

Barn Swallow

Carolina Chickadee

Tufted Titmouse

Carolina Wren

Ruby-crowned Kinglet

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher

Eastern Bluebird

Cedar Waxwing

Blue-winged Warbler (heard clearly, but not seen)

Yellow-rumped Warbler

Black-throated Green Warbler

Yellow-throated Warbler

Louisiana Waterthrush

Eastern Towhee

White-throated Sparrow

Northern Cardinal

Red-winged Blackbird

Brown-headed Cowbird

American Goldfinch
