[TN-Bird] Mystery Vermivora = Blue-wing

I returned this morning (6/9/2011) to the spot where I heard the odd Vermivora song two days ago. This time I saw the singer, and found it to be an ordinary Blue-winged Warbler with no obvious suggestions of hybrid ancestry. I did get better recordings of its song which I will post later. This song is not one of the species' crickety-buzzy alternate "B" songs; it is an aberrant primary "A" song.

I tell ya, with each passing decade as I learn ever more about bird songs and their other vocalizations, I get MORE confused, not less!
