Wednesday was the best day yet in our yard ! Warblers were: American Redstart, Chestnut-sided, Hooded (took our breath away as it came within 20 feet at eye level from our deck), Tennessee, Magnolia, Orange-crowned (yard first), Common Yellowthroat, and Golden-winged. Vireos were: Yellow-throated, White-eyed, and Philadelphia. Others were male and female Scarlet Tanagers, two Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, an American Kestrel flying over, and a Swainson's Thrush ( also yard first). Looking forward to what Thursday will bring; if you are in the area, come and sit on the deck with us and enjoy seeing warblers without having to get "warbleritis" from looking up.
