[TN-Bird] Lone White Goose

Like Damien, I've made very few submissions to e-bird but 20 plus years of
birding have proven the "lone white goose is usually a Ross's" to be true from
my experience as well. There are obviously exceptions to every rule but as Jeff
eleuded to this is more of a what is most likely scenario than it is a hard and
fast rule. I'd have to go back and dig up all my records to be exact but I'd
say
that over the years that lone Ross's Geese vs. lone Snow Geese for me has to be
at least 10:1 in favor of Ross's! I do believe also, that way back when, a
certain Ol' Coot was the one who first clued me in on this occurrence.
Good birding,

Mark Greene
