[TN-Bird] Lewis County Fall Bird Count

Yesterday, September 16 2006, three intrepid observers, many  
locations around the County, 76 species:

Eastern Screech Owl 1
Great Horned Owl 1
Barred Owl 1
Common Nighthawk 2
Whip-poor-will 2
Chimney Swift 3
Ruby-throated Hummingbird 4
Belted Kingfisher 1
Red-headed Woodpecker 3
Red-bellied Woodpecker 6
Downy Woodpecker 3
Hairy Woodpecker 1

Of course, a few things showed themselves today that were hiding  
yesterday:  Yellow-breasted Chat, Bay-breasted Warbler, Baltimore  
Oriole, and one of the persistent Olive-sided Flycatchers that have  
been gracing the tops of my snags since Sep. 9.
