[TN-Bird] Late Chipping Sparrow nesting

 Jack Paul and I spent Saturday doing some yard work at my in-law's house in 
Savannah (Hardin County).  Constant fussing from a cluster of flowers in the 
front yard drew our attention.  I checked the area with binoculars and found an 
adult Chipping Sparrow feeding nearby.  We went to the flower bed to see what 
the commotion was about and found a nestling hiding in the vegetation. The 
dislodged nest was found on the ground nearby.  The nestling was probably still 
a few days from fledging.
