The Black-necked Stilt I first reported on 11/24 remains on the pond on Homer
Worsham Rd. To be honest, I was hoping it would be gone by now, for its own
sake, but it clearly has other ideas.

I drove around the area a bit and found a big flock of Horned Larks (80+) on
Calvert Rd. near the intersection with Hwy 25. There were at least five Lapland
Longspurs in with them (it was like finding needles in a moving haystack) and a
single American Pipit dropped in as well.
