[TN-Bird] Knox/Blount Co. birding -1/8

Stan Wallace and I decided to check out a few places Thursday afternoon, 1/8 in 
Knox and Blount Counties. It was a little slow.

Louisville Point Park (Blount): (very windy and COLD)
  Pie-Billed Grebe - 14 (channel to the right as you enter park)
  Amer. Coot
  Ring-Billed Gull
  Dark-Eyed Junco
  Brown-Headed Nuthatch (heard)
  Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker - 1
  Eastern Bluebird

pond next to Alcoa Elementary (Blount):
  Northern Shoveler - 2 females
  Mallard
  Domestic ducks
  Amer. Coot (nice view of one's striking feet)
  Ring-Billed Gull

pond off Baum Dr. (W. Knoxville):
  Amer. Black Duck - 1 male (lifer--nice close view from car)
  Mallard 
  Domestic white duck
  Great Blue Heron - 1
