While doing a count for the GBBC today (Feb. 16) in Germantown, I saw a hermit
thrush which I haven't seen for a very long time. I saw one fox sparrow which I
don't remember seeing since 2006, and I also saw a small flock of Rusty
Blackbirds forging a woody area of the Cameron Brown Park. This is a life bird
for me, so that was a pleasant surprise. It shows me that I need to get out
more in Feb. and bird watch!
