Marshall County, TN
3 1/2 miles North of Caney Springs
One male Henslow's sparrow was singing between 7:20 and 7:30 this evening in a
field on our family farm. This is the same broomsedge field (with sericea
lespedeza mixed in), which contained a Sedge wren last week. This bird is a
first for the farm, my first of season, and the earliest in the season that
I've heard one singing.
