Harpeth River Greenway Davidson Co. Bellevue, TN 2009 Oct 31 and 2009 Nov 1 I walked along the Harpeth River Greenway in Bellevue on Saturday and Sunday mornings. There are now plenty of SWAMP SPARROWs and some WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWs there. Highlights included several TENNESSEE WARBLERs, an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, a PALM WARLBER and a flyover immature NORTHERN HARRIER. I was pleasantly suprised to hear an EASTERN SCREECH OWL as well. Because of the recent rains, water in the Morton Mill Road Lake is quite high. Birds of interest included: Saturday Sunday Cooper's Hawk 1 - N. Harrier - 1 E. Screech Owl 1 - Orange-crowned Warbler 1 - Tennessee Warbler 5 1 Yellow-rumped Warbler 7 7 Palm Warbler - 1 Frank Fekel Nashville, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
