Believe it or not yesterday (May 4) I had 5 fledgling House Sparrows as my first of the season. My wife said why is that sparrow feeding those other sparrows? I looked and noticed a female House Sparrow feeding 5 fledglings! Actually, they were rather cute! They were back again this morning. I am trying to get some good pictures of them to go on my website. Also of interest was a Coopers Hawk circling about 100' above my house. It would turn where the sun would catch its bright underparts perfectly, showing off the dark band at the end of the tail. I tried, but could not get a picture of it. In the Meantime, Happ0y Birding!
