Here is the result of our fall count for Wilsdon County, dated September 17,
2005. Our attempt to repeat the count on October 8 failed due to health
problems and prior commitments. I regret that cut and paste spoils my spacing,
a
problem I have not mastered.

Notes. Once again we were unable to count at Boxwell Scout Camp, so water
fowl counts are low. In general, fewer bird individuals were seen. The
species count was 62 (66 in 2003, 62 in 2004). The number of individuals minus
Starlings was very similar to 2004. No Cliff Swallows were seen, but there
were
Barn Swallows and Tree Swallows.
