[TN-Bird] Ducks 1-21-04/ Anderson County, TN

1-21-04   Wednesday

There was a nice assortment of waterfawl at Eagle Bend Fish Hatchery,
Anderson County (Clinton, TN)  today. They were all located in the large
pond up on the hill.

     1 SNOW GOOSE
      1 CANVASBACK   F
      20 BUFFLEHEAD
        3 BLACK DUCK
        REDHEAD     14
      RING-NECK    5
       LESSER SCAUP 2
       MALLARDS  58 
 A couple hundred Ring-Billed Gulls were present.  
       
4 Wilson's snipe were in the lower pond (the only one with water and a
mudflat)
I found a PALM WARBLER along the fence line in the thickets near the
industrial park . Also, 2 Ruby-Crowned Kinglets.
