Went to Radnor Lake on Thurs. morning and spent extensive time
there. I found 16 warbler species, seeing only 6 of them. More
interesting was the BARRED OWL that I found on the road to the
Hall Tract. Sitting on a branch it faced a complaining BLUE-GRAY
GNATCATCHER that began repeatedly to dive bomb it from above,
touching the feathers on the owl's head in about half of its
attempts. The owl just ignored it.

In Bellevue just before I went to the NTOS meeting, I looked out
at my feeders and saw my first BLUE GROSBEAK of the season eating
bird seed on the feeder.
