10 May 2008 Shelby Park/Bottoms East Nashville, Davidson Co This morning a singing Alder Flycatcher, and a Connecticut Warbler were found in Phase 1 of Shelby Bottoms. Both birds were seen just past the start of the grass trail along the Cumberland River. A total of 20 species of Warblers were seen: Golden-winged - 1 Tennessee - 1 Nashville - 2 Northern Parula - 1 Yellow - 1 Magnolia - 6 Blackburnian - 1 Yellow-throated - 2 Praire - 4 Palm -1 Bay-breasted - 1 Blackpoll - 4 Black-and-white - 1 Am. Redstart - 4 Swainson's - 1 (present since 30 April) N.
