[TN-Bird] Re: Congratulations for responsible wildlife management and Sandhill Cranes.

I second what Wallace said.  I want to also echo an earlier comment
about Melinda in particular.  Many people made valuable contributions
on behalf of TOS and those opposed to this hunt, but no one put the
time, effort, and energy into this that Melinda did; it was almost a
superhuman effort.  I know from first hand experience and the sheer
volume of emails I received and phone calls and meetings in which I
participated with her, and which were only  a fraction of all she did,
just what an unbelievable effort she put into this.  We (and a lot of
cranes who won't be shot in the next two years) owe her a debt of
gratitude for her dedication to this cause.
