This just continues what Kevin and Dean have reported. We have seen an
increased movement since the 'front' passed through late last week. Today we
had our first cerulean warbler of the fall in the creek. We have also seen a
turnover in the hummingbird population. Before the front there were six or
eight around the yard, then we dropped down to two. We are now back up to 5 or
six.
We had not seen any catbirds in the yard since late May, but since the front
passed we have had at least a dozen pass through. Other probable migrants were
redstart, wormeating warbler, hooded warbler, great-crested flycatchers, and
red-eyed vireos.
