TN birders, Thanks to a tip from Rick Houlk, got out today looking for a Bradley Co shrike without success. However, did get two new birds for TN and the county for the year. Had two singing dickcissels, both on Dry Valley Road. One was opposite the Cleveland Utilities water treatment plant sign, and the other on a wire that was perpendicular to the road 0.2 mi south of Beeler Ridge Road. The two grasshopper sparrows were on Beeler Ridge Road before you crest the hill after turning onto BRR from Dry Valley Road. From exit 27 on I-75, go east past First Baptist Church on the left, and turn left at the second traffic light at Michigan Avenue, which eventually becomes Dry Valley Road.
