Birding my home property in Birchwood (Hamilton County) on Friday, October 15,
I was able to identify 26 species. Some of the highlights follow.
* Five woodpecker species: Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (3), Red-bellied (4),
Downy (2), Northern Flicker (4) and Pileated (1)
* One Ruby-crowned Kinglet (FOS)
* One Gray Catbird
* Five warbler species: Tennessee (3), Magnolia (2), Bay-breasted (1), Pine
(1) and Yellow-rumped (1)
