I thought iForum was great this year! The technical sessions I attended were excellent, although I was only able to make a limited number due to business meetings, etc. One of our clients presented in the HealthCare session and it was well received. I didn't mind the walk within Mandaly Bay, it was good exercise. Seeeing Sumo wrestlers everwhere was a total blast! I brought my wife and she got to enjoy it being in Vegas, I was pretty busy the whole time. Orlando is a real pain for people out west, especially because I also attend Summmit, which by the way, is where I focus on technical sessions.... Steve Greenberg Thin Client Computing 34522 N. Granted, there were plenty of distractions, but even though I stayed at Mandelay Bay, I didn't find time to play poker until Monday night. The walk was long from the room to the conference, but it wasn't unreasonable. The price of the Internet access in the rooms was definitely ridiculous, but they gouge you on everything as a rule of thumb anyway, so I wasn't surprised. I used the wi-fi at the conference to avoid the expense. I definitely hope they have it in Vegas more often. _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Claus, Brian Sent: Monday, October 17, 2005 1:49 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: iForum iForum 06 is in Orlando iForum 07 is back in Vegas food: amazing variety and flavor but I echo the gripe on hotel staff guarding the food and forcing you elsewhere.hey buddy.if you have a pot of coffee and it's 7:30 AM, and it's Vegas, and I'm from the East Coast, and I'm awake...PLEASE do not tell me to go across the conference hall to use a different pot of coffee.WHAT? Is your coffee too good for me? But I digress. sessions: less end user speeches.I concur with a previous point where people go.here's what we have and we love Citrix. I don't get a lot out of that. I'd like to see more Citrix engineers talk about the guts of the product line.what it is, how it works, how they recommend implementation final night party: I stood at the bar, had whiskey and coke all night.don't remember much else hotel: Mandalay Bay was great.
