Sorry I hadn't checked the list in a couple of days...

Anyway, I ran into a similar problem with a DL360 G3, just to find out =
the
iLO was causing the problem. (If you don't know what iLO is, it's a =
remote
console port on new ProLiant servers, check
http://h18013.www1.hp.com/manage/ilo-description.html). I found the =
answer
on Citrix's Japanese Support Site (thanks to Altavista translator), but
changed it a little bit:

1) If you already installed MF, uninstall it.
2) In W2K's Device Manager expand "Multifunction Adapters" and disable =
the
"HP iLO Management Interface Driver"
3) Install MF
4) Re-enable the "HP iLO Management Interface Driver"

BTW, I have been using HyperThreading with HP and IBM boxes and had no
problem so far...

Hope it helps!

Just wondering if anyone else has addressed any issues with repeated =
BSOD's
on Compaq DL380 G3 boxes. Typical config might be:
Windows 2000 SP3
Citrix Metaframe XPE FR2 SP2
Compaq Support Pack 6.2

I've read several posts that indicate turning off Hyperthreading might
resolve the issue.

In addition, I've upgraded a few of the boxes to CSP 6.3a and downloaded =
a
recently released update to the cpqasm2.sys issue.

Excerpt
Corrected a STOP 0x44 bugcheck observed on servers configured with the
Server Agent.=20
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/17849.html

However, this does not address the Hyperthreading issue that is also
believed to create a STOP BSOD on the G3 boxes when users connect via =
Citrix
ICA.

Typical BSOD's I've seen on G3's
Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x00000076 (0x00000000, 0x8885B020,
0xFFFFFFFF, 0x00000000)) Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x00000044
(0x885B1008, 0x00000CCA, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)) Blue Screen Trap
(BugCheck, STOP: 0x00000044 (0x88759A28, 0x00000CCA, 0x00000000,
0x00000000))
=20
I've installed the recently released hotfix for the 044 BSOD. Hasn't =
been
long enough to ascertain effectiveness.

Has anyone else addressed these issues successfully?

Thanks.
-Murphy
