The driver for the printer need to be installed on the server as well. The driver name needs to match otherwise you will need to map the printer in the CMC (or wtsuprn.inf). Also, printers with host-based drivers will not work. Joe -----Original Message----- From: Michael Boggan [mailto:MBoggan@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, March 29, 2004 3:59 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] XP HOME and Citrix printing I have an office at a client site that has a local network printer. She can print to it just fine locally, but when we try to have her login it will only create the printername [upd] printer and that one will not work. it will not autocreate the standard printer. they are using MS XP home edition on the workstations. is there a problem with home edition? you can't even manually create the local printer in citrix session. it says that it is an invalid printer. HELP!!!!!!!! thanks, > _________________________________ > > Michael Boggan > Network Engineer/Citrix Admin > Virtual Desktop Inc. > Dallas, Texas > Ph: (972) 960-6400 > Fax: (972) 960-6445 > email: mboggan@xxxxxxxxxxx > <http://www.virtualdesktopinc.com> > _________________________________ > ******************************************************** This weeks sponsor Emergent Online.
