We encountered a similar problem after installing MS Security hotfix MS04-007 on our Win-03 Web Interface/CSG server. Users in farm "B" (who do not have access to farm "A") would enter in their ID and PW and then their browser would go to a blank screen and hang (their farm "B" published apps would never appear). As a temporary workaround we added the farm "B" users to the local users group on the farm "A" SSL relay server. This works OK (for now), as farm "B" user do not have access to any farm "A" published apps, they can only access their farm "B" apps. Our test Web Interface server is W2K on which we cannot duplicate the problem. We are in the process of cloning our Web Interface/CSG server for fail over, but before putting it in Prod hope to use it for testing to sort out this problem. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Hegg Peter Sent: Monday, March 22, 2004 07:35 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Web Interface doesn't work when defining second farm Hello we have a test installation of 1 webserver, installed with Citrix Web Interface 2.1 in our DMZ. The new interface allows us to define more than one citrix server farm in different locations (all reachable from our DMZ of course). As soon as I define the 2nd farm in the Web Interface and corresponding citrix server/xml-port I always get an "invalid credentials" on the web interface logon page. The thing is, that the user is either in Farm 1 or in Farm 2, but never in both of'em. When defining Farm 1 (or Farm 2) alone without the other Farm, the user gets his application set an is able to start them without problems. Has anyone come across this and has a solution/tip where to look? Thanks all Peter ******************************************************** This weeks sponsor Emergent Online.
