I do this daily. Unfortunately I have not had success with the java client, but the full blown Citrix client for OS X works fine. I use Safari, Camino, and FireFox all with success. The WI will download a launch.asp file to my browser's download window and I just launch it from there. You can config your browser to automatically launch that file for you but I'm a little anal about letting anything auto launch things for me so I choose not to do that. Sometimes on the OS X systems the .asp files will be associated with Apple System Profiler (I think that is it) and will not launch Citrix as expected. When that happens you just need to go in to Get Info and change what launches when a .asp file is launched. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:DPETERSO@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, September 30, 2005 12:04 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: WI from a mac Does this Mac have Java 1.4.2 Update 2? There are problems with Safari and that version of Java. http://support.citrix.com/kb/entry.jspa?externalID=CTX105240 fixed it for me. Not sure on IE. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of IT Support Sent: Friday, September 30, 2005 11:27 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] WI from a mac Does anyone have tips for accessing WI from an Apple Mac (OS X Tiger) I've got both Java and the latest citrix client installed, and have tried both IE and Safari but it doesn't work. In Safari I get the dreaded Java Red X, and IE just tries to download the ICA file. ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: triCerat Inc.
