[THIN] WI and SUN Java

Anybody got the above to work? WI 2.1, Metaframe client for Java 8. Have tried
various flavours of SUN JRE without any success. MS JVM is o.k. . Have also
tried various flavours of OS and SPs with the same results. Error message I'm
getting in the console when trying to fire up an application is :
load: class com.citrix.ConnectionCenter not found.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.citrix.ConnectionCenter
Looking through the archives I see that others have had this issue but there
don't appear to be any solutions. The Citrix knowledgebase describes this issue
- but only on a Mac (about the only OS I haven't tried).
I notice that the latest HP boxes are coming with SUN JRE now!!.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'm doing something really stupid !!
