Fremont is only about 40 miles from San Francisco, so I would think that's what you want to have a look at. I've been up that way a few times and saw a few things in San Francisco. There's Alcatraz, of course, and the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, the cable cars, Lombard street, to name a few. Search online for tourist attractions in San Francisco, and you'll find way more than you'll have time for. http://www.citibay.com/citibay/attractiions/sanfrancisco/sanfrancisco.shtml Bear in mind too, that traffic in that whole region is beyond description. Look at some traffic maps of the area online - it can be ungodly. http://www.sfbaytraffic.info/map.htm JD > -----Original Message----- > From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Shane A > Broomhall (AUST) > Sent: Thursday, 1 April 2004 2:10 p.m. > To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [THIN] Very OT Travelling to Fremont whats there to > have a look at ?? > > Hi All, > > Sorry about asking a very off topic question. > > I have been asked to fly from Brisbane Australia, to Fremont > California.
