Guys trying to put a 2nd variable into the AD tab for mapping a users home
drive with Citrix

We did have \\servername\share\%username%
<file://\\servername\share\%username%>

and would like something like \\%servername%\share\%username%
<file://\\%servername%\share\%username%>

This gives us the ability to have home drives in two different locations
depending what server they log onto and what the %servername% variable is
set too.

With the first it works as expected and when using a set HOMESHARE is set to
\\servername\share\joeuser <file://\\servername\share\joeuser>

with the 2nd it sets HOMESHARE to \\%servername%\share
<file://\\%servername%\share>

We have been using this with profiles for ages and it works as expected but
not when trying this with the homedirve setting in AD.

Anybody got any ideas.

Incidentally a net use y: \\%servername%\share\%username%
<file://%25servername%25/share/%25username%25> works as expected so I know
the variables are being enumerated right.

Our current solution is just to Map the home drive to the correct location
after the users logs on but this is not the best way.

How are other people coping with servers in different physical locations
across WAN's?
