Unless Win CE.Net has got support for USB flash media. It seems to me that although I have not seen Flash Media support on WinTerms, that Win CE.Net generally DOES supports flash cards because of Pocket PC devices. I wonder if you can bother WYSE to give you a module to add that will support it? I would definitely bother them about it, sometimes you might be surprised what they come back with. It's just that I will need to update the WinTerm users to XP embedded OSes. The price of an XP WinTerm is just about as much as a low end PC. We were hoping to be able to go with a lesser priced (cheaper) WinTerm device. I guess this falls under the heading... That's life. You'll be extremely hard pressed to get anything more complicated than mice, keyboards and printers to work on a terminal USB port. The terminal would need drivers for the card reader and the vast majority don't support addon drivers, even if you can get them for CE. Of course, I'll be delighted to be proved wrong. -----Original Message----- From: Lutz, Ken [mailto:KLUTZ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 12 November 2003 23:54 To: Thin - List (thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) Subject: [THIN] USB flash card readers Hello. I am hoping that this list can help me. I have a need to use a USB flash card reader via a Wyse 1200LE WinTerm device. My Citrix farm consists of 4 Windows 2000 SP3 servers, running MetaFrame XPe FR2/SP2. The Wyse 1200LE has a USB port. What do I need to do to get the Wyse device and Citrix to recognize the USB flash reader? Thanks in advance for all the help!
