So this happens with either RDP *or* ICA?

I'd say you have a *serious* problem. 

First guess: cranky print driver? Although in that case I would expect
them to get to a login before the system died... Added anything new
recently? Do you have other servers in the farm that behave normally?

After that: got your credit card ready for a call to Microsoft?
