The first time a new client (one without a TS CAL) logs in, it will get a
temporary. The second time it logs in, the temporary will be replaced with a
full TS CAL.

Subject: [THIN] TS Temp Licenses

Hi all

Can anyone tell me why a TS Cal license server would issue temporary
licenses. We have several 100 left in the available licenses and I can see
it issuing these and adding to the existing Windows 2000 licenses as well.
But why does it give out temp ones?. Seems to still give out 1-2 temp
licenses every few days Running this on Win2K member server with Sp4.

Thanks
