[THIN] IE crash when viewing large image

when our users try to open this site:
https://www.verwaltungsweiterbildung.ch/default2.asp internet explorer
crashes. this happens when when using ica - rdp works fine .
figured out that when ie tries to load
https://www.verwaltungsweiterbildung.ch/images/background_front.jpg
it will crash - the image size is 20 * 1024. this shouldn't be a problem -
right?
anyone seen this before? windows 2003 / xp fr3 with current patches. users
report that so far all other
sites are being displayed fine.
