Yup she was.

The 'O' initial was I think a reference to one of the writers, though,
not Hitch himself.

Here's another one - during the filming of Rear Window, a huge
soundstage was used, and because of the logistics of the situation, some
of the direction of some of the scenes had to be done in quite an
unusual manner - what / how was this done?
