[THIN] Slightly Off topic: Domain Join does not use the AD Sites and Services

Hi All,

Does anyone know of a bug that may cause a Windows 2003 SP2 server to
not adhere to the AD Sites and Services structure when joining a domain?

This seems to ONLY be an issue with 64-bit builds, as 32-bit builds are
behaving.

Sites and Services is correct, and the Subnet where the server is being
built is associated to the correct Site.

I'm building servers using the traditional unattended method. The 64-bit
servers are connecting to DC's on the other side of the world. Because
replication has not taken place, the Australian DC's cannot authenticate
them after a reboot, and therefore the whole build process fails!

I think it's a bug and a hotfix was released, but I am clearly not
searching with the right criteria.

Cheers.

Kind regards,

Jeremy Saunders
