We run the Novell client 4.83 SP1 on our Metaframe XP servers in an NDS for NT domain architecture and have set the default logon domain in the client settings to domain "A" which is our accounts domain. The servers reside in domain "B". When we set the preferred NDS tree at the farm level, it overrides the Novell client settings switching the default logon domain to domain "B" where our servers reside. This prevents pass-thru authentication from working properly. We have explored all registry keys where the domain name is recorded, and have tried to statically set the default domain in the registry to no avail. Nothing seems to work. All efforts are overridden by the farm level NDS setting. Anyone have any idea on how we can get around this? ;-) <We know, we know - DON'T USE NDS - as much as we would rather not use it, unfortunately we're stuck with it.> Thanks, Matthew McComas LAN Technician RadioShack Corporation matt.mccomas@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ********************************************************* This Week's Sponsor - RTO Software / TScale TScale increases terminal server capacity.
