[THIN] Roaming Profiles and Cookies

Has anyone ran into a site that the cookie needs to be saved and not deleted
on logoff?
We have roaming profiles and we do not save cookies to there profile to
reduce the size of there profile. But now we have a site that requires a
cookie that is used to save website preferences( users names , account,
printers setting etc...
I was wondering if there is a way of prevents certain cookies from being
deleted?
